If you are alcohol dependent you have a strong desire for alcohol. Sometimes the desire is overwhelming. You have great difficulty in controlling your drinking.

In addition, your body is so used to lots of alcohol that you start to develop ‘withdrawal’ symptoms 3-8 hours after your last drink, as the effect of the alcohol wears off. So, even if you want to stop drinking, it is difficult because of the withdrawal symptoms.

The withdrawal symptoms include: feeling sick, trembling, sweating, craving for alcohol, and just feeling awful. Convulsions occur in a small number of cases.

As a result, you drink alcohol regularly and ‘depend’ on it to prevent these symptoms. If you do not have any more alcohol the withdrawal symptoms usually last 5-7 days, but a craving for alcohol may persist longer.

The severity of dependence can vary. It can develop gradually and become more severe. You may be developing alcohol dependence if you:

Need a drink every day.

Drink alone often.

Need a drink to stop trembling (the shakes).

Drink early, or first thing in the morning (to avoid withdrawal symptoms).

Often have a strong desire to drink alcohol.

Spend a lot of you time in activities where alcohol is available.

For example, if you spend a lot of time at the social club or pub.

Neglect other interests or pleasures because of alcohol drinking.

If you are alcohol dependent you are usually ‘tolerant’ to the effect of alcohol. This means that you need more alcohol to notice any effects and to become drunk. This can make things worse as it tends to make you drink even more.

If you are alcohol dependent you may get drunk regularly. However, you may not get drunk.

You may drink small amounts regularly to keep the withdrawal symptoms away. You may then be able to ‘hide’ your problem from others.

However, you are still at serious risk of developing conditions due to heavy drinking (liver damage, cancers, etc).

Delirium tremens (’DTs’) This is a more severe withdrawal reaction after stopping alcohol.

It occurs in about 1 in 20 people who have alcohol withdrawal symptoms about 2-3 days after their last drink. Symptoms include: marked tremor (the shakes) and delirium (agitation, confusion, and seeing and hearing things that are not there).

Some people have convulsions. Complications can develop such as dehydration and other serious physical problems. It is fatal in some cases.

Hemorrhoids may result from straining to move stool. Other factors include pregnancy, aging, chronic constipation or diarrhea, and anal intercourse.

Hemorrhoids are either inside the anus l or under the skin around the anus
Symptoms of Hemorrhoids:

Hemorrhoids symptoms first appear in rectum and the rectal region. The main symptoms of hemorrhoids is formation of blood clots inside the anus, irritation or itching in the rectal region, swelling in the anal region. Obstruction in passing stool or bleeding from anus. Hemorrhoids is also called as PILES.

Cause of hemorrhoids :-

Sitting for prolonged periods of time

Obesity and a sedentary lifestyle

Pregnancy.

Excessive consumption of alcohol or caffeine

Prevention from hemorrhoids:-

Hemorrhoids can be prevented if proper care is taken. Here we have listed out some helpful tips to prevent the occurrence of hemorrhoids:

Diet-The condition is caused by overeating and by simply dieting , the hemorrhoids will self-heal. No other treatment will be required.

Reducing regional pressure in such ways as improving posture and muscle tone.

Taking herbs and dietary supplements that strengthen vein walls.. Drinking 99% pure aloe juice can also relieve itching and swelling.

Eating fiber-rich bulking agents

If you look around the internet, you will find many references to Activated Liquid Zeolite and its use with Cancer. This article discusses some of the information, and attempts to take a rational viewpoint of the material with regard to what Zeolite actually does in the human body.

Recently, while in Las Vegas, I was told that preliminary research has been done taking Zeolite with a chemotherapy drug, Cyclophosphamine. Apparently this drug causes a toxin called “acrolene” when ingested which has toxic side effects. When the Activated Liquid Zeolite is taken in conjunction with the drug, the toxic effects are eliminated. This is preliminary research and it will be many years before this connection is proven by published scientific papers. It may explain why some people have less side effects from treatment when they are taking the Activated Liquid Zeolite as well.

First there is Jonathan Campbell, who asserts that activated liquid Zeolite can cause cancer. There is no evidence to back this claim. Mr Campbell sells an alternate cancer cure and has a vested interest in discrediting other products. Furthermore there are 3 classes of Zeolite. One includes asbestos, which definitely causes lung cancer. The sheath like Zeolites, of which Clinoptilolite, the Zeolite used in activated zeolite products, has been certified as GRAS (generally recognised as safe) status by the FDA in the US. This is the highest level of safety possible. Who do you trust, the FDA, or Mr Campbell?

Now, let’s look at some of the research done with regards to Cancer and Zeolite.

In an article titled “Natural zeolite clinoptilolite: new adjuvant in anticancer therapy” published in the Journal of Molecular Medicine Volume 78, Number 12 / February 2001, research is detailed with Mice, Dogs and Rats, indicating the use of Zeolite reduces skin cancer tumour growth.

It states, “In vitro tissue culture studies showed that finely ground clinoptilolite inhibits protein kinase B (c-Akt), induces expression of p21WAF1/CIP1 and p27KIP1 tumor suppressor proteins, and blocks cell growth in several cancer cell lines. These data indicate that clinoptilolite treatment might affect cancer growth by attenuating survival signals and inducing tumor suppressor genes in treated cells”.

While this is not a study on humans, it does indicate that the use of Zeolite has some function at least in animals in tumour suppression. The p21 gene is known by scientists to suppress tumours and one of the great scientific debates is how to trigger this gene in cancer patients.

The following information is quoted on many websites. To my knowledge, it has not been substantiated or published, and the study was done by Lifelink Pharmaceuticals, of which Rik Deitsch is a director. It therefore must be taken with a grain of salt!

Although only one small human trial has been conducted, the results were intriguing: 78% full remission for stage 4 cancer patients (with various types of cancer). The study was an open-label trial conducted by the researchers at LifeLink Pharmaceuticals in Ohio. Although one small study is not grounds for leaping to solid conclusions about cancer, this result is promising enough to warrant additional investigation. Any anti-cancer effect is probably due to NCD’s ability to induce tumor suppressor genes that cause the body to not only halt the growth of tumor cells, but actually destroy such tumors.

Now, you must make up your own mind whether animal studies can be applied to humans, or whether Lifelink’s study is fact or fiction. All we can do is to quote the information available.

There are some other areas where Natural Cellular Defense could definitely help with many disease states. One is the area of body pH. Studies done invitro (in a test tube) indicate that with a pH of 7.4 or higher, cancer cells become dormant. This would indicate that if the body’s pH can be raised to this level, it is possible that it could slow down or even stop the spread of cancer.

Dr. William Kelley, in an article titled, “Cancer - Self Treatment”, suggests that “There is research indicating that cancer grows slowly in a highly acid environment (because the acids cause it to partially destroy itself) and may actually grow more quickly as your body becomes more alkaline prior to reaching the healthy pH slightly above 7.4 where the cancer becomes dormant. Therefore, you will want to get your pH above 7.4 as quickly as possible by every means available.”

This would indicate that when raising pH, it is important that it is done as quickly as possible and that as pH rises, cancer activity can increase for a while. So, one would have to be really convinced that a pH of 7.4 does effectively stop the spread of the disease before considering this action.

Often there is a challenge with Natural Remedies in that sometimes indications get worse before they normalise. This leads many physicians to recommend against the use of such products, because they see any worsening of the situation as alarming. Again, you will have to make your own mind up about this. The question then is to research alternate pathways and decide the likely outcome in each case!

Natural Cellular Defense, taken regularly, will raise pH into the 7.4 zone and keep it there, which I think is a good thing!

Vic Shayne, PhD in an article called’ “Ignoring the Link Between Toxins and Cancer” states, “With all of the cancer information and disinformation broadcasted continually through the major news media, rarely do we hear a mention of the greatest threat to our health - and the most prevalent cause of cancer: toxins.”

More evidence is emerging every day that there is a relationship between environmental toxins and cancer. A recent article in the Vancouver Sun stated, ” Banned pesticides and other toxic chemicals lingering in the environment put people at an increased risk of developing non-Hodgkin lymphoma, according to a B.C. Cancer Agency study”.

We are rapidly approaching a point where there is little doubt that toxins are affecting our health in a negative way. In 1907 there were less than 7% of deaths from cancer. At that time no chemicals were used in agriculture. Today the death rate from cancer is over 30% and of course we have thousands of toxic substances in our food, water and air. Is this a coincidence? You decide!

Natural Cellular Defense, or Zeolite, is effective in removing toxins, particularly heavy metals and organic chemicals such as dioxin, deildrin and benzene. We have done hair analysis tests before and after using the product, and although this is not a scientific controlled study, the results are documented by lab reports and are quite impressive.

Research was published in an article titled, “Zeolite Binds to Benzene” (Active Crystallography 1996). This shows how in a laboratory, the Zeolite molecules combine with benzene to remove it from the body.

Conclusion. In summary, we know that Activated liquid Zeolite increases heavy metal secretion by 8-20 times baseline. We know that it increases pH to the 7.4 range. We know that it removes toxins and heavy metals from the body.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that the product will give results with any particular medical condition. We suggest you do your research. If an out of balance pH or toxic overload are likely causes of a condition, adding activated liquid zeolite to your regime won’t do any harm, and it just might work. You have very little to lose and possibly much to gain.

Wrinkles are creases in the skin. Wrinkles are the thin, creased, and sagging skin that is especially noticeable on the face, neck, and hands. Wrinkles develop as we get older because natural substances such as collagen , elastin and hyaluronic acid (which gives skin volume), which provide the skin with structure and volume decrease with age. Skin wrinkles typically appear as a result of aging processes such as glycation or, temporarily, as the result of prolonged (more than a few minutes) immersion in water. Wrinkles are a by-product of the aging process. With age, skin cells divide more slowly, and the inner layer, called the dermis, begins to thin. Sun damage is one of the most important causes of skin ageing and skin disorders such as skin cancers.

Overall, exposure to ultraviolet radiation from sunlight accounts for about 90% of the symptoms of premature skin ageing, and most of these effects occur by age 20. Smoke causes a marked reduction in the production of new collagen. A lack of new collagen results in the development of wrinkles. Rapid weight loss can also cause wrinkles by reducing the volume of fat cells that cushion the face. This can cause the skin to sag. There are numerous over-the-counter treatment options for wrinkles, including various creams and lotions. Retinol is a vitamin A compound and is the first antioxidant to be widely used in nonprescription wrinkle creams. Antioxidants are substances that neutralize free radicals — unstable oxygen molecules that break down skin cells and cause wrinkles.

Lasers may also be used to minimize wrinkles. Avoid spending too much time in the direct sun. Botulinum toxin (Botox) may be used to correct some of the wrinkles associated with overactive facial muscles. Alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids and poly hydroxy acids are all synthetic versions of acids derived from sugar-containing fruits. These acids are exfoliants — substances that remove the upper layer of old, dead skin and provoke the growth of smooth, evenly pigmented new skin. Never use a sunlamp or tanning bed or lie in the sun to get a tan. Wear a sunscreen on your face and hands every day. Some patients may choose plastic surgery for age-related wrinkles. Don’t go to the tanning salon.

Wrinkles Treatment and Prevention Tips

Don’t smoke.

Avoid alcohol and pollution areas.

Protect your skin from the sun.

Choose products with built-in sunscreen.

Wear a sunscreen on your face and hands every day.

Never use a sunlamp or tanning bed or lie in the sun to get a tan.

Moisturizers can’t prevent wrinkles, they can temporarily mask tiny lines and creases.

Retinol is a vitamin A compound antioxidant to be widely used in nonprescription wrinkle creams.

The LAP-BAND System originally received its approval from the FDA for use in the US back in June of 2001. The lap band surgery or adjustable gastric band procedure is used in serious desperate situations and is performed with laparoscopic instruments. This means the surgery is minimally invasive with a very short recovery time. Adjustable gastric banding, including the Lap Band system, is a form of restrictive weight loss surgery designed for obesity patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or more or between 35 and 40 for those who have conditions that are medically known to improve with weight loss.

Allergic reactions to materials in the band or pain intolerance to implanted devices are both contraindications for having lap band surgery. Those who are eligible are those between ages 18 and 55 years, although there are doctors who will work outside these ages, some can be as young as 12. The surgery is not a good idea when severe cardiopulmonary diseases or other conditions exist which make them poor surgical candidates.

A prospective surgical patient must be a good operative risk. The lap band surgery is usually not performed if the patient has an untreated glandular disease such as hypothyroidism - low thyroid, where other measures may still be used.

The placement of the adjustable gastric band makes a small pouch at the very top of the stomach which holds approximately 50 ml. This pouch ‘fills’ up with food quickly and the passage of food from the top to the bottom of the stomach is slowed down. The port membrane may be sutured neatly in place. The band is inflated and adjusted by way of a small access port placed just under the skin (subcutaneously). Then radiopaque isotonic solution or saline is introduced into the band by way of the port.

The adjustable gastric band or Lap Band is an inflatable silicone prosthetic apparatus which is placed around the top portion of the stomach using the finite keyhole laparoscopic surgery. Lap band or gastric band placement, which is unlike the traditional malabsorptive weight loss surgery (these are Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery, biliopancreatic and the duodenal switch) does not cut into or remove any part of the digestive system. The reported gastric dumping syndrome issues or problems do not happen in lap band surgeries because none of the intestines are removed, cut out or re-routed.

Following surgery the patient should think about eating less, eating more slowly and chewing food thoroughly. Some of the patients may find that that before their first fill they’re able to eat fairly large portions. Following surgery the initial weight loss in gastric banding is a little slower than with Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery but statistics show that during a five-year-period the weight loss results are similar.

Regaining weight can happen with any surgical weight loss procedure and that includes the radical procedures that result in a rapid weight loss in the beginning. The amount of weight that is lost the months following surgery depends on the patient and their personal situation, their motivation, and their mobility.

Other possible complications of gastric band surgery include the ulceration of and irritated stomach tissue. And erosion can occur, that is where the band may wear on a small area on the outside of the stomach. And this can lead to the migration of the band to the inside of the stomach.

For some of the adjustable gastric band surgery complications involving the band itself and port, they include: some band slippage, possible pouch dilation, esophageal dilatation or some dysmotility and possible erosion of the band into the gastric lumen for example. A real common occurrence for lap band patients is the regurgitation of some non-acidic swallowed food from the upper pouch, which is commonly called productive burping and is not normal.

If you are considering lap band surgery it is critical that you find a weight loss team with a good post-surgical plan because recommendations can vary drastically. Some post-surgical weight loss surgery teams offer good support groups, but some of them mix gastric bypass surgery patients with gastric banding patients and you want to find a support group for gastric banding patients only. Many patients have chosen to travel to other countries for low cost lap band surgery and there are many countries now including Mexico that are offering lap band or adjustable gastric banding surgeries

It is a known fact that the bones and joints in your body will start to get weak at some point in your life. When you reach the age of 60, or even 50 for some, you will start to feel pain in several parts of your body - including your lower back - that can be excruciating and unbearable. It is important to note, however, that elderly people are also at risk of developing the condition known as disc degeneration.

What Is Disc Degeneration?

Disc degeneration occurs when the discs, which support the spine, is damaged or broken due to old age, injury or certain diseases. This condition is characterized by your leg being a little numb and your lower back area feeling constant pain. This condition is actually fairly common.

However, not all people who have disc degeneration are aware of their situation because a damaged or broken disc per se does not cause pain or other obvious symptoms. You will only feel pain when your problematic discs are ruptured or abnormally pushed out. This condition is what we call herniated disc, which is commonly known as slip disc.

Causes of Disc Degeneration

Majority of cases of disc degeneration are due to the normal wear and tear of the bones and joints. These discs act as support and shock absorber of the vertebral column. Eventually, through much use, some discs on your spine will start to get weak and damaged.

Another common cause of disc problems is injury. Putting sudden pressure on your lower back from lifting heavy objects, accidents, prolonged or frequent exposure to vibration or simply picking up something on the floor can cause slip disc.

Who Are At Risk Of Experiencing Disc Degeneration?

As mentioned earlier, everybody can be a candidate for such a condition. However, there are some individuals who are more prone or susceptible to breaking or injuring such discs.

Old People

The bones, joints and the fluids in-between the vertebrae of old people are getting weaker and smaller by the day. Naturally, they are the prime candidates for slip discs. However, the older you get, the more difficult it will be for you to recover from slip disc. Septuagenarians who fall and end up injuring their spine will find it very hard to get over their vertebral problems.

Athletes

Both professional and amateur athletes are equally prone to getting slip disc because of exerting too much effort in practicing or perfecting their performances. Moreover, athletes usually push their bodies to the limit, so the normal wear and tear process of bones and joints are much faster for them than the average Joes.

Obese And Overweight Individuals

One of the reasons why it is important to maintain your ideal body weight is because your bones and muscles end up overworking themselves when your body is carrying too much load. The same is true with your discs. The heavier you get, the more prone you will be at getting spine injuries because your body is finding it hard to carry your weight.

Treatment Options

Surgery

Individuals whose discs are heavily fragmented or disintegrated are advised to undergo surgery. In such cases, metal plates will be inserted and used to replace problematic discs. However, if your disc problem is not really serious, you may want to consider other options.

Nor-surgical Treatments

In most cases, people who have herniated discs recover in about one to six months through physical therapy and proper exercise. If you have herniated disc, the first thing that you have to do is rest. After a few days, you should start moving and getting out of the bed to strengthen the muscles that hold and support your spine. However, you should still take it easy on your movements and avoid strenuous activities until you your physician says otherwise.

Since pain is a common complaint from people whose discs have been ruptured, painkillers are often prescribed. However, you should not get too dependent on taking pain medications because prolonged use of these pills can cause severe side effects.

Lastly, rehabilitation of the herniated discs is important in ensuring that your condition is completely healed. Exercise, physical therapy and supplements are important during the recovery stage. You need to eat healthy and take products that will help strengthen your bones, ease pain and replenish the fluid between the discs. Products like Phosoplex can help you recover from disc degeneration or herniated disc. You can find out more about this product by visiting www.Phosoplex.com.

In many countries asbestos is still mined, processed and used. In a growing number of others, it is either banned, or its use is severely restricted because of the serious health risks associated with it.

Asbestos can be found in numerous everyday places, such as:

Ducts

Furnaces

Vinyl flooring

Shingles

Siding

Asbestos insulation

Ceiling tiles

Ceramic tiles

Acoustic tiles

Sheetrock

Paint

Automobiles

Asbestos can also exist in surprising places:

Adhesive

Fake Snow

Ironing Board Covers

Mittens and Mitts

Wallpaper

Yarn

How is asbestos used?

The Construction Industry

Asbestos is used in many aspects of building and construction for insulation, sound absorption, pipe insulation and to strengthen cement.

In the Automobile Industry

The automotive industry manufactures cars with asbestos in the brake shoes and often in the clutch pads.

In The Shipbuilding Industry

Asbestos is used to insulate boilers, steam pipes, and hot water pipes. Sometimes, asbestos insulates ship’s nuclear reactors.

Everyday Exposure

Asbestos paper makes daily life more convenient. For example, table pads use asbestos, as well as beverage filters, wire insulation and heat mats.

In 1979, approximately 560,000 metric tons of asbestos was used in domestic products. That number is reduced today to less than 55,000. However, many products still exist that were produced before asbestos use was restricted.

Fucoidan is one of the polysaccharides; it is known as a sulfated polysaccharide and is found in many varieties of brown seaweed. It is also found in the sea cucumber. There are 2 types of Fucoidan being researched at this time; F-fucoidan- which has sufated esters of fucose. The second type is U-fucoidan- which is made up of 20% glucuronic acid. They can now be found as diet supplements. The seaweed is found in several places; Japan, Hawaii, Norway, and Tonga.

Many Japanese eat this seaweed with beneficial results. In order to combat diseases like cancer, there has been a lot of research done to see how the body can be made stronger.

Research has been going on with Fucoidan since 1970. There have been many exciting discoveries.

A special emphasis has been laid on the immune system. It is a system that allows the body to fight against disease- even terminating cells that have mutated. The body also eliminates toxins and poisons in the system. Toxins enter our systems through the air we breathe and the food and water we ingest. Due to environmental pollution, we are more at risk now than ever before.

Fucoidan has been shown to help the body with cellular communication. This enables the body to function better and will enable the immune system to be more efficient. It has also been found to help with cell regeneration by helping to increase stem cells. It has also been proven to help with many functions of the body. It enables the body to be stronger and resistant to diseases. It even helps our bodies fight cancer.

As such, it has been available as a diet supplement in Japan since 1997. The pharmaceutical industry has now developed gelceuticals. These are diet supplements that are gel based. They are made from whole foods, such as Fucoidan. They are easy to digest and are more efficient in this form.

Fucoidan, found in brown seaweed, has received endorsement from the Hallal and Kosher associations. This has increased its demand among ethnic and even non-ethenic groups of people.

Fucoidan is extracted from brown seaweed. This is grown on special seaweed farms in Japan and also grows naturally in cool temperate waters. It is also found in deep, cold ocean water. In fact, the species Ascophyllum nodosum can be found in the artic. Freshly cut floating plants are harvested as these have the least amount of pollution.

With the growing amount of research being done on Fucoidan, more beneficial properties are being found, and we will find even more uses for this essential sugar.

Since more than 75% of women experience at least one vaginal yeast infection during her lifetime, it’s important to be able to recognize the symptoms so that you can treat the infection quickly.

If you’ve never had a vaginal yeast infection and you suspect you might have one, consider going to a doctor for a definitive diagnosis. Only a doctor will know if it’s truly a yeast infection or if it’s something more serious.

Here are the yeast infection symptoms to look for:

Vaginal itching

Vaginal discharge that may be thick, white, and lumpy like cottage cheese

Vaginal soreness, irritation, or burning

Rash or redness on the skin outside the vagina (vulva)

Smells like bread or beer

Burning on urination

Painful vaginal intercourse

Causes of Vaginal Yeast Infections

Yeast infections are caused by an overgrowth of the normal fungi that lives in the vaginal area. The overgrowth is often caused by recent use of antibiotics, wearing clothing such as nylon or Lycra that traps moisture and heat, pregnancy, obesity, PMS, multiple sclerosis, and diabetes.

Tips to Prevent Yeast Infections

Always wear white cotton panties.

Avoid wearing nylon and Lycra clothing as much as possible.

Never wear panty hose without wearing cotton panties underneath.

Always wipe from front to back after a bowel movement to prevent transferring yeast to the vaginal area.

If you’re post-menopausal or use oral contraceptives, use a vaginal lubricant during sexual intercourse to prevent vaginal discomfort and irritation.

If you’re taking antibiotics, eat one cup of yogurt a day.

Avoid perfumed bubble baths.

Avoid using feminine sprays.

Avoid powders in the vaginal area.

Don’t douche - it will wash away the natural protective mucous of the vagina and leave you susceptible to vaginal infections.

Use unscented pads and tampons during your menstrual period.

Dry vaginal area thoroughly after showering or swimming. A moist environment encourages the growth of yeast.

Remove your wet bathing suit as soon as possible.

Use unscented and white toilet paper.

Decrease consumption of sugar. Increased sugar levels in your body causes yeast to grow faster.

Avoid use of scented, deodorant or colored tampons, pads, or panty liners. These products can be irritating to the vagina.

Knowing the symptoms of vaginal yeast infections will help you get treatment quickly. And knowing how to prevent yeast infections will help you to avoid them. Knowledge is power.

You are busy doing some work or just relaxing, suddenly you feel pain in the lower abdominal area. You touch it and it hurts. What do you think is the cause? It may be due to a diverticulitis attack because these two are the main symptoms of diverticulitis. Before discussing the other symptoms it will be better if you understand how this condition develops.

The diverticulitis disease was a very rare case before the 1900’s. It was noticed in the U.S of A at a time when processed foods were introduced. So the doctors have a belief and it may be true that low fiber diet is the main cause of diverticulitis.

How does diverticulitis develop?

In today’s world people are eating foods which were unknown before like the processed foods, refined foods, the junk food, chocolates ( in huge quantities) and several other foods. Your digestive system does not have the ability to digest it correctly. When the digestion is not proper you will have trouble passing it out of your body. You have to apply pressure on the colon many times. Due to this your colon becomes weak and some of the weakest points bulge out to form pouches. These are called diverticula.

When a small particle enters these pouches it will get infected and inflammed. This condition is known as diverticulitis. In most of the cases it is mild in nature but sometimes it can become severe. Actually only 10% to 25% of people with
diverticula suffer from diverticulitis. You should be careful and try to avoid this condition in your body.

What are the symptoms of diverticulitis?

As stated earlier the major symptom of diverticulitis is abdominal pain. The infected area will become tender and hurts when touched. Usually the left side of lower abdomen is affected. You can expect this to happen suddenly and unexpectedly. So you should be observing your body for these symptoms. The other related symptoms can be

Fever along with chills

Constipation ( i.e., irregular and difficult evacuation of bowels )

Nausea and vomiting

Cramps ( i.e., painful muscular contraction )

Diarrhea ( i.e., frequent and watery bowel movements )

The condition preceding diverticulitis, which is the formation of small pouches does not have visible symptoms. So the chances of avoiding diverticulitis may be small and most people will not give attention to the pain. In one case I read that a person had acute pains in the abdominal area but he took it lightly. His condition became so severe that he had to undergo surgery. So you are advised to take care of your health and observe your body for sudden changes.

Remember these symptoms of diverticulitis and whenever you feel that something strange is happening in the abdominal area get a medical checkup done.
